These photos were taken along the Tomales Point Trail in Point Reyes National Seashore, my favorite hike in California for wildlife photography. Tule Elk, a subspecies found only in California, roam freely here after once being nearly extinct. I recommend this hike not only for the wildlife, but also for its sweeping ocean views and coastal scenery.
