These photos were taken in the National Key Deer Refuge on Big Pine Key, Florida. Key Deer are an endangered subspecies of white-tailed deer found only in the Florida Keys. They are much smaller than mainland deer, and can be found roaming pine rocklands and quiet neighborhoods of the refuge.
